Our History

As our business, Sargent’s Landscape Nursery, Inc., celebrates its fiftieth year in Rochester, we have come to realize the value of documenting key development periods in our business growth as a base on which future generations can build. The four sections in this book describe major chapters in these fifty years. They were written originally as blogs for our company’s e-newsletter. We owe a big thank you to Mike Ransom for writing them and Shawn Fagan for his marketing prowess. Our hope is that whoever reads this brief history will share the passion and vision of all the Sargent’s and employees who made this incredible journey possible.
